Nanna and her husband Jørgen Ditzel were internationally recognized Danish designer from the 20th century. While being still students, they exposed their first furniture at the Arts and Crafts School in Copenhagen.

Once having their own design studio, they started to work with wicker in the renowned workshop founded by the famous wicker worker Robert W. in 1950.

The couple experimental approach to materials resulted in multiple innovative furniture made of rattan. This cooperation was the beginning of a renewed status for wicker furniture in interior design.

Sika-Design distributes different furniture designed by Nanna & Jørgen Ditzel, such as the Hanging Egg chair, the Rana lounge chair or the Nanny rocking chair.
