Arne Jacobsen was a Danish architect who began to make a name for himself in the 20th century, and continues to do so today.
His visionary and innovative way of designing makes his work special and appreciated.
From 1924 to 1927, he was in to the Architecture School at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
He presented his first furniture design in 1925, at the Paris Art Deco fair, Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes. Here he won a silver medal.
He won a Danish Architect’s Association competition for designing the famous “House of the Future”. The latter was built in full scale for the Housing and Building Exhibition in Copenhagen.
