Cultureplex – Ariake

This multipurpose and communal central space uses Ariake furniture all over its venue.
Cultureplex is described as “community centre for a modern city”. They provice well-equipped areas to work aswell as a event spaces, a restaurant, a cinema and a coffee counter.
The space is a modern take on a public square and is inspired by Manchester’s libraries and halls. Love Is Enough tries to retain the classic, industrial Manchester elements as much as possible.
Kufuku Restaurant, Tokyo – Ariake

This 70 years old house converted to a restaurant has been given a whole new look with modern Ariake furniture.
In a neighbourhood full of modern buildings Kufuku really stands out. It looks like time had stopped in this restaurant. Keiji Ashizawa pefectly combined the antique look with Ariaki furniture.
Originally the first floor was designed to be a shop floor and the second floor was used as a residential space. Currently the space is used as a French restaurant while paying respect to Japanese culture.
Yama Dessert Shop – Ariake

This cosy French restaurant in Toyko makes perfect use of Ariake’s Outline Barstools.
Arita Huis Hotel – Ariake
Location: Saga, Japan
Arita Huis is surrounded by Arita porcelain and finished with Ariake furniture.

The Dutch East India Company played a big part in the development of Arita porcelain, which is why the word ‘huis’ is used.
Duo Residence Penthouse, Singapore – Ariake

Duo Residence Penthouse in Singapore is lavishly designed with contemporary work and spectacular views.
The studio principal was designed by Gabriel Tan such as the dining table, dining chairs and vases in this space, as well as the sofa, coffee table and TV console in the living room.
Inspired by the interior treatments of an apartment Gabriel had experienced at Mies van der Rohe’s Lafayette Park in Detroit, we wanted to work with colours in a strong and decisive manner – this intention was especially evident in the the bedrooms, where grey and green tones flow from ceiling to walls.
Restaurant Sola Fukuoka – Ariake

This one-star restaurant not only excels with their food, but also with their interior design.
The restaurant is set in a passenger terminal commercial complex overseeing the Hakata bay. While the restaurants still maintains its spacious look, it has also created an intimate feeling.
Sola, a project by chef who received a Michelin star tries to keep the distance between the customers and staff as small as possible. This feeling has been created by the open kitchen and very big counter in the middle.
Nazuna Kyoto Gosho Hotel – Ariake

A luxury hotel with 7 rooms, each designed around Wagashi, a specific Japanese sweet.
This traditional Japanese house is a luxurious hotel with a very authentic interior. Each of the 7 rooms is designed around Wagashi, a specific Japanese sweet.
Not only do they experiment with contemporary and traditional settings, but they also support emerging artists by displaying a lot of one-of-a kind objects.
