The “Ambra Toba” light sculpture series is a combination of ancient stones and aluminium, with the centerpiece being the Mexican “Toba volcánica” stone.
This stone contains minerals, and volcanic debris that were ejected one million years ago during severe eruptions, with the fragments in the geometrical surfaces bearing testament to the past explosions and movement. The studio’s contemporary approach on traditional materials and craft is highlighted through the contrast between the porous textures and the smooth dark red of the stone. The connecting components between the sculptural stone elements and the aluminium parts were the result of an intensive research to link unique handmade shapes with industrial parts.

Description
Studio David Pompa – Ambra Pendant red – LES VRAIS
Ambra Pendant red is one of the new light sculpture collection which integrates ancient stones and aluminium
At its core is the “Toba volcánica” stone from Mexico, which was formed over a million years ago.
The lamp is a mixture of minerals, glass, and volcanic debris.
The geometric surfaces of the stone fragments bear witness to the powerful explosions and movements.
Additionally, the Ambra Toba lighting collection, designed by Pompa, features a unique combination of volcanic stone and aluminium.
Thus, it creates striking contrast between rough textures and smooth finishes.
Additionally the collection includes for example, floor lamps, wall lamps, and pendant lamps, each featuring
sculptural stone elements that you can see other variety down below on our ourwebsite .
The Ambra Toba stands out with its unique and understated proportions, exuding a distinct character.
Moreover, the entire handmade process is carried out by skilled artisans in Mexico.
Moreover, the light cylindric volumes create an intriguing uplight, illuminating the floor and casting a gentle, indirect glow.
Ambra Toba Pendant red textures and the smooth, dark red finish.
The connecting components that join the sculptural stone elements with the aluminum
parts were developed through extensive research to link unique handmade shapes with industrial components.
Thorough researches have been conducted to achieve such a compelling result. The latter manages to blend two specific elements into industrial lines while respecting the craftsmanship of Mexican artists.
All this work has resulted in a brand new collection of pieces that will enhance your interiors with their light.
