The Meta Parallel brass is a collection of delicate light sculptures crafted from volcanic rock and powder coated blac elements, arranged linearly. The sculptures feature an exceptional balance of weight and form, with each element perfectly complementing the other.
The sculptures create a unique dialogue that combines characterful and poetic language to reflect architectural compositions. The solid brass is meticulously hand-polished, and its natural oxidation over time adds to its allure. Each sculpture is a unique piece of art, with a specific progressive serial number engraved on an individual label. This showcases the exceptional artisanal work and high-quality material finish that has gone into creating each piece.

Description

Studio David Pompa – Meta Parallel 145 black – LES VRAIS

Meta Parallel black 145 suspends its elements in a horizontal plane. Thus, te metal element becomes a new visual object that reinforces balance and tension.

Enclosed volcanic stones placed at a defined distance are much more than the sum of their parts.

Hence, the canopy starts a conversation between function and aesthetics, creating a unique integrated piece.

This way, a sculpture with its own language is created.

Meta Parallel 145

The Meta Parallel lamps are defined by their elegant, minimalist form that reinforces the visual interplay of balance and tension.

Two columns made from natural stone are connected by a single horizontal metal element.

The Meta Parallel brass uses volcanic rock and powder coated black, a light gray natural stone quarried in Puebla, Mexico, like the Meta Parallel White, while Meta Parallel black uses Recinto,

also known as volcanic rock, for the columns.

Both materials give the lighting a natural, porous texture that’s understatedly luxe.

Moreover, multiple Meta Parallel lamps can be combined to create an installation-like sculpture as presented below.
