Description

Trufa Pendant – David Pompa

David Pompa Trufa Pendant is a handblown glass pendant lamp.

david pompa trufa pendant

Trufa Pendant is a 100% recycled, handblown glass sculpture.

Its surface encapsules air bubbles giving it a unique texture filtering different layers of warm light.

It allows for two different states: horizontal and diagonal, simply by moving the lighting object in the desired state by hand.

As the Trufa is created by melting used glass bottles and transforms them into a lighting sculpture it closes the circle of

design, utility and beauty all staying within its original environment of Mexico City.

As this pendant lamp is both very classic and very comtemporary its narrative includes both subtleness and balance.

As every piece is a little different because of the hand-blowing and air bulbs in the glass, the textured surface combines with all interiors.

Vidrio soplado

Recycled handblown glass containing air bubbles in its surface that play with light,
creating new compositions of miniature reflections through its texture, enriching the light that shines through.
The entire handmade process is carried out by skilled artisans in Mexico.
